Neck Pain, Back Pain, Headache Relief
Some of us have that thing that’s sitting on the back burner: I need to write that note, I’m going to play with my kids more, I’m really going to make time for me, I should start exercising and taking care of myself… You just want to start on one of them.
However, something keeps getting in your way. You can’t get to it right now. You just can’t seem to get moving in the right direction because the pain you have when you try to do what you want to do is holding you back.
Have you ever had something that happened in your past that’s effecting you now? Keeping you from getting those things done.
Typically, we stop doing the things that we want to do or need to do because something happened. We got off track in our schedule or we suffered a minor or major injury.
If we’re being honest with ourselves, after that happened we tried to get back to being active, but the pain wouldn’t go away. So, we decided to give it time to rest, because our body has always healed itself in the past.
When it didn’t heal with rest we went to our doctor to get it looked at, and they gave us pills. But those pills didn’t help. Well, when we take the pills we don’t feel the pain, but we know that it’s not fixing it because the pain keeps coming back.
So eventually we completely stop doing what we want to do or need to do, because the pain always comes back when we do that activity.
We tell ourselves, this must be the way it is for me. This must be my lot in life. Our health and relationships are okay, not as bad as some people we know, but not as great as we know it could be if this pain was fixed.
Somewhere along the way someone lied to you.
You were told that this is going to fix your problem, and when it didn’t fix it and they didn’t give you other options you gave up. Not because you wanted to give up, you’re not a quitter. You just didn’t know any other way.
There is another way. There’s a way to correct the source of your problem and get you back to living your life.
Far too often we are using medications to cover up the pain.
We’re using medications to try to fix a structural problem, and we know that no amount of medication will fix a structural problem.
In fact, when you think about it, it just doesn’t make sense do that.
Could it be possible that you have a structural problem?
