Medal of Honor Recipient Recommends Chiropractic
Medal of Honor recipient, Clinton Romesha, is fighting for the rights of those that protect our country. He knows that most back pain is covered up by taking pills and medications instead of actually getting to the source of your pain. He recommends correcting your pain with chiropractic care.
In a 2011 Veterans affairs study, it stated that VA patients are nearly twice as likely to fatally overdose (termed as accidental poisoning in the study) on opioids than the U.S. population. This is a disturbing trend in opioid addiction for our vets. The conclusion of the study was, “that a substantial need exists for interventions to reduce the risk of accidental poisoning among VA patients.”
Furthermore, a recent study found opioids were no more effective than other pain medications.
In his CNN interview, the Medal of Honor recipient continually brought the conversation back to getting away from prescribing opioids for our soldiers and instead getting an adjustment to correct the problem.
